AU Bookkeeping Assistant
Keep global finances accurate through bank reconciliations, invoice processing and monthly reporting, with supportive training, hybrid options and room to grow.
Bring accuracy and consistency to global finance operations. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to support outsourced bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, and routine monthly reporting across Australia, the UK, and the USA.
Work Setup: Remote, with onsite schedules upon client request.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for handling outsourced bookkeeping functions, bank reconciliations, accounts payable data entry, and routine monthly financial reporting across Binyan’s global operations in Australia, the UK, and the USA.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Reconciliation
Complete Weekly Reconciliations: Perform weekly bank reconciliations across AUD, USD, and GBP accounts, ensuring transactions are posted promptly and aligned with bank statements.
Manage Monthly Statements and CSV Uploads: Prepare CSV files, upload monthly bank statements, and complete credit card reconciliations.
Accounts Payable
Share Inbox Ownership: Manage incoming supplier invoices received through accounts@binyan.com.au.
Liaise with Vendors and Internal Teams: Respond to inquiries from third-party suppliers and internal staff.
Maintain Accurate AP Records: Complete daily and weekly entry of accounts payable invoices into NetSuite.
Process Remote Worker Invoices: Enter and process monthly invoices submitted by remote workers.
Reporting
Prepare the Remote Worker Summary: Generate and deliver the monthly remote worker summary report to Management (1 hour per month).
Complete IT Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly IT expense and system reports to IT (1 hour per month).
Skills Qualification
Experience in clerical work and basic bookkeeping.
Desirable: Proficiency in NetSuite, Xero, or similar accounting software.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing incoming invoices and CSV data uploads.
