[Paid Internship] Marketing Intern

Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic, creative, and proactive Marketing Intern to join our AU Marketing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to build brand awareness, create engaging digital content, and support multi-channel campaigns targeting the Australian and global business landscape.
This is a paid internship open to graduating or enrolled college students who need to complete 300 to 600 hours of required academic internship, practicum, or On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media Support: Assist in drafting engaging copy, social media posts, and visual assets for platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.
Campaign & Collateral Production: Support the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, digital flyers, email newsletters, and website landing page copy.
Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on industry trends, target audience demographics, competitor positioning, and the Australian business landscape.
Employer Branding & Internal Marketing: Collaborate with HR and Recruitment to highlight company culture, team achievements, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting: Assist in gathering data on website traffic, social media engagement, and email campaign metrics to evaluate performance.
Project Coordination: Support administrative tasks, file organization, brainstorming sessions, and day-to-day marketing project workflows.
Skills & Experience
Academic Background: Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
Required Hours: Must be required by your university/college to complete 300 to 600 hours of internship/OJT.
Work Schedule: Hybrid, with days depending on class schedule.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Digital Literacy: Familiarity with social media platforms, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), MS Office, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus).
Mindset: Eager to learn, proactive, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
