Keep Reporting Accurate: Maintain prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset registers; prepare monthly management reports and financial reporting packs; and assist with cash flow management and forecasting.
Own Compliance & Payroll: Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and Payroll Tax returns while ensuring compliance with Australian taxation and reporting requirements.
Process Payroll End to End: Manage payroll for new hires, terminations, allowances, benefits, adjustments, payroll reconciliations, year-end payroll reporting, Workers Compensation estimates, and annual declarations.
Partner with Accountants: Liaise with external accountants on tax-related matters and annual reporting requirements.
Manage Client Relationships: Independently manage a portfolio of clients as their primary accounting contact, building strong relationships through professional and responsive communication.
Support Client Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new clients, transitioning accounting processes, identifying risks and issues, and recommending practical improvements and solutions.
Collaborate and Deliver: Work with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and perform other duties as required by management.
