We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer / Marketing Assistant who can design polished marketing assets, support client campaigns, and keep day-to-day creative admin running smoothly. If you’re confident with Adobe Creative Suite, understand how design supports marketing goals, and enjoy balancing creativity with organisation, this role is for you.

Role Overview
As our Junior Graphic Designer / Marketing Assistant, you’ll create graphics for social media, email campaigns, promotional materials, client projects, and print-ready assets. You’ll also support marketing administration, organize digital files, assist with scheduling, and help keep projects moving through clear communication, careful time management, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Create Client-Ready Graphics: Design assets for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, email marketing, and client projects.
· Adapt Designs Across Platforms: Resize and prepare graphics for Meta platforms and other marketing channels while keeping layouts clean and brand aligned.
· Build Marketing Layouts: Create layouts for booklets, campaign materials, and other collateral that follow messaging hierarchy and marketing design principles.
· Update and Refine Existing Designs: Edit existing artwork, refresh assets, and make design changes accurately based on feedback or brand requirements.
· Prepare Files for Print: Set up artwork with the right print requirements, including bleeds, CMYK, and production-ready file preparation.
· Support Visual Content: Perform basic photo editing, colour correction, and simple video edits for social media and marketing use.
· Assist with Marketing Tasks: Help with email outreach, campaign assets, inspiration research, market research, and other marketing support as required.
· Keep Creative Work Organised: Manage multiple design projects, schedule created posts, maintain digital asset libraries, organise files, and follow folder and naming conventions.
Skills & Experience
· Experience working as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio or examples of marketing-focused design work.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
· Basic knowledge of Canva and the ability to create or adapt simple design assets when needed.
· Understanding of messaging hierarchy, visual consistency, brand guidelines, and marketing design principles.
· Basic understanding of print production requirements, including bleeds, CMYK, and preparing files for print.
· Comfortable using scheduling and project management tools, especially Trello.
· Strong communication, time management, administrative, and organisational skills.
· Able to work independently and collaboratively while balancing design tasks, admin work, and deadlines.
Good to Have
· Knowledge of Figma or willingness to learn quickly.
· Video editing skills using Premiere Rush, the Edits app, or similar simple editing tools.
· Experience using Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and colour grading.
· Experience prompting AI tools, particularly for creating hyper-realistic photo concepts or visual references.
· Basic experience using drag-and-drop website builders such as Squarespace.
