FP&A Analyst

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and commercially astute FP&A Analyst who can bring clarity to business performance through accurate reporting, sharp analysis, and practical insights. Work Setup: Hybrid in Makati during Probation (2x a week onsite)
Role Overview
As an FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the business. You’ll deliver timely insights, maintain financial accuracy, and support GM and Executive-level decision-making through clear commentary, reconciliations, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Weekly P&L Reporting: Prepare and distribute accurate weekly profit and loss reports, including clear variance analysis and practical commentary.
Track Business Performance: Monitor, analyse, and report key business KPIs to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support Senior Stakeholders: Respond to GM and Executive-level queries related to P&L and KPIs, providing ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions.
Manage Rebates: Conduct regular rebate reviews, approve supplier rebate invoices, and reconcile amounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Keep Reconciliations Accurate: Perform ongoing balance sheet reconciliations and investigate or resolve variances in a timely manner.
Support Month-End Close: Assist in finalising month-end reporting and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Own Accruals: Prepare and manage monthly accruals, ensuring appropriate cut-off and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist with Compliance Reviews: Support GST and FBT reviews to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Improve and Automate Processes: Drive automation of reporting workflows using Power Query and advanced Excel while continuously improving accuracy and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar FP&A / finance analyst role
Proven ability to analyse and interpret P&L statements with insightful commentary
Experience with KPI reporting and financial analysis
Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
Technical Skills
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Pronto or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (including data modelling, complex formulas, and reporting)
Strong experience with workflow automation (Power query / Power BI preferred)
