We’re looking for a detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to support a Trade Credit Risk Team with applicant monitoring, credit assessments, reporting, and compliance. Role Overview
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you’ll support the Trade Credit Risk Team by monitoring applicant records, reviewing credit limit renewal requests, escalating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate reporting. You’ll work within insurer guidelines, decision matrices, internal policies, and service level expectations to help clients make informed credit risk decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor Applicant Records: Track applicant records and communicate status changes, updates, and alerts to clients in a timely manner.
Assess Credit Limit Renewals: Review and assess credit limit renewal requests based on insurer guidelines and approved decision matrices.
Escalate Discrepancies: Identify discrepancies, exceptions, and potential issues, then escalate them through the appropriate channels.
Maintain Compliance: Follow internal policies, insurer requirements, confidentiality standards, and service level agreements.
Prepare Reports: Maintain accurate records and prepare consolidated weekly alert reports for client and internal review.
Skills & Experience
At least 1 year of experience in administration, credit operations, financial services, or insurance.
High attention to detail with strong data accuracy and validation skills.
Able to follow structured guidelines, decision frameworks, and documented processes.
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Organised, reliable, and able to meet reporting timelines and service level expectations.
