Keep payroll precise, compliant, and on time. We’re looking for a detail-driven ANZ Payroll Specialist who can confidently manage end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand. Work Setup: Hybrid 2x a week in the Makati/Pampanga office
As our ANZ Payroll Specialist, you’ll support accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll processing across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with the Senior Payroll Officer on payroll operations, reporting, reconciliations, employee records, and process improvements while maintaining confidentiality, attention to detail, and a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Own Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end mid-month and month-end payroll processing, including timesheets, pay adjustments, leave accruals, terminations, and redundancy payments.
Keep Records Accurate: Process new starters and terminations, maintain staff records, and ensure documentation is complete, current, and properly filed.
Support Compliance: Prepare and submit payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation, WorkCover, and workers compensation requirements across Australia and New Zealand.
Reconcile and Report: Complete payroll reconciliations, reporting, and analysis with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
Handle Payroll Data: Extract payroll information from systems, process bulk data confidently, and enter accurate values across payroll platforms.
Partner with Leaders: Work closely with the Senior Payroll Officer, Group Financial Controller, department heads, directors, and leadership team as needed.
Deliver Service with Care: Respond to payroll-related queries with professionalism, confidentiality, and strong customer service.
Improve the Process: Identify opportunities to streamline procedures, strengthen controls, and improve payroll efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Previous payroll administration experience with an Australian or New Zealand company.
Strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance requirements, company policies, and corporate procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, with the ability to analyse worksheets and prepare accurate reports.
Experience with ADP, MYOB, or other payroll software is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, and follow-through.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise competing demands, and meet strict deadlines.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with the willingness to improve processes and share responsibility with the team.
